SAAB has restructured its fleet department resulting in the departure of fleet marketing manager Maggie Small. Fleet operations manager Andy Dunsdon said: 'In the fleet department we have effectively lost one position. Her role will be redeployed within the marketing department for all our fleet marketing activity.'

Small, a long-time Saab employee, who previously headed the fleet operation, left the company on Friday. It is understood that there have been other job losses in Saab but outside the fleet department. At last month's Geneva Motor Show General Motors Europe president Mike Burns said Saab would increasingly use Vauxhall's expertise in fleet sales, although there were no plans to combine departments.
