ANIMAL feed manufacturer and supplier BOCM has implemented a structured personal leasing scheme for its 300 company car drivers. The scheme was designed by accountancy firm Grant Thornton, and will be implemented in conjunction with fleet management services from Zenith Vehicle Contracts.

The majority of BOCM's fleet drivers cover high mileages, and therefore face the greatest danger of increased company car tax bills next April. The structured car scheme will see drivers technically own their company cars, thereby avoiding benefit-in-kind tax on the solus Vauxhall fleet.

Philip Jerome, Zenith sales and marketing director, said: 'We have done a communication exercise and spoken to all drivers in groups of about 50. Most people will be better off.'
