THE Opel Zafira microvan fuel cell prototype, HydroGen1, will pace athletes in the Olympic marathon in Sydney, Australia. The car is a full-scale five-seater vehicle based on the Opel Zafira compact van and has a top speed of 140km/h. The electric current is generated by a fuel cell stack that consumes pure hydrogen.
