WEBFORCE Logistics, which has a 2,000-vehicle fleet, has become one of the largest firms to use an internet-based system to track deliveries and contact staff.
The firm has signed up to NetDespatch, which allows immediate electronic communication between 60 WebForce sites and customer offices throughout the UK. The entire system runs via the internet and can be accessed through any internet ready computer or WAP facility.
WebForce clients book and track jobs directly on the internet using their browser and NetDespatch servers automatically distribute bookings. Clients can monitor collection time, estimated time of arrival, delivery time and proof-of-delivery details.
