THE BVRLA - Britain's biggest leasing and rental association - has joined with auction group BCA to offer its members a specialist sales platform.

Twenty-three BCA sites across Britain will hold BVRLA Quality Assured Sales, backed by a major marketing campaign to attract the right buyers.

'BCA will promote the sales to our 25,000 account card-holders with a planned programme of direct mail, telesales, regional and trade press advertising, email and internet promotion,' said a spokesman.

'Vehicles entered will be top quality, desirable stock, with warranted mileage, registration documents, full service histories, and - where appropriate - radio security codes and master keys.'

The BVRLA's director general, John Lewis, said: 'The residual value is a critical factor in wholelife costs, and any service that can help at this critical time is to be welcomed. Ex-lease vehicles are among the most sought-after at auction.'

Sales will take place weekly in regular slots with other direct-entered high-demand vehicles from fleet sources. (November 2001)
