HOLY smoke! Bidders at Manheim Auctions Leeds met a couple of unusual guests at a recent sale when Batman and Robin popped by to help raise funds for charity.
The caped crusader and his sidekick were part of a charity sale which raised £4,000 for children's hospice, Hannah House.
A host of vendors including Vauxhall, GE Capital Fleet Services, GMAC Financial Services, Skoda, Arval PHH and Ford donated £5 for every vehicle sold, with Manheim matching this amount.
Prizes auctioned included an children's electric Ford Ka, a weekend break and a luxury food hamper. Lisa Grimsley, centre manager at Manheim Auction Leeds, said: 'We were delighted to be able to raise the money that will be of great assistance to what is an excellent local hospice.'
