THE Soil Association is switching its 25-vehicle fleet to alternative fuels following a review of the environmental impact of its fleet.

It has ordered six Vauxhall Astra Dualfuels which run on either liquefied petroleum gas or petrol, supplied by Bristol-based contract hire company ALD Automotive. It intends to change the rest of its fleet at a later date. The Soil Association, is the UK's leading organic food and farming organisation, and has 160 employees.
