FLEET News' sister title AM has a revamped website at www.am-online.com. It has undergone the most significant changes since its launch in 2001, designed to make the site a greater asset to decision-makers in the motor industry and packed full of essential, up-to-date news, analysis and opinion. It is faster and easier to use than its predecessor and offers an advertising resource for your business.

In order for the site to become a useful business tool, existing functionality has been improved and new functionality added.

Enhancing the delivery of news is a bespoke e-mail bulletin direct to your desktop. Sign up for the e-mail through the register section. You can choose to receive the news daily or weekly. You will also find links to features and an area dedicated to AM's aftermarket supplement AutoTRADE and other supplements.

The news section of the site has a number of sub-sections: showroom, used cars and aftermarket, replicating sections of the paper. The news section is boosted by a full archive search facility.

Showroom features assessments of the latest cars with fact files and behind-the-wheel judgements. Used cars puts expert industry comment alongside a focus on a car and its potential in the used market.

Aftermarket focuses on the aftersales and servicing sector mixing expert opinion – from the likes of Fleet News and research centre Sewells – with the latest news.

The recruitment area on AM-online has undergone significant changes to make searching for the perfect job easier and to enable it to become an essential resource for recruiters and candidates.

Job seekers can now more easily find the job they want through requesting e-mail alerts that match their search criteria, based on job title, salary or location, sent as soon as the position is posted on the site. JB
