THE new Fiat Multipla will be priced from £13,395 on-the-road when it goes on sale in the UK on August 28.

Existing SX and ELX designations will be replaced with Dynamic, Dynamic Plus, and Eleganza, in keeping with other Fiat models, creating six versions in the new range. The outgoing model had just four.

The Multipla retains its pioneering two-rows-of-three seating layout, flat floor and removable rear seats.

Entry-level Dynamic cars come with a CD/radio (as opposed to a radio/cassette player on the old model), electric front windows and door mirrors and an electric height adjustment for the driver’s seat.

Dynamic Plus models add climate control, side airbags, an alarm and front fog lamps, with on-the-road prices starting at £14,295.

Eleganza models have reverse parking sensors, steering-wheel mounted audio controls, leather-covered steering wheel and gear knob, alloy wheels, window airbags and electric rear windows, with prices starting at £15,295.

The premium for the 1.9 JTD over the 1.6-litre petrol model is £1,200.
