NISSAN is creating a national sales company to cover Eastern Europe.

Based in Budapest in Hungary, the company will oversee the sales and distribution of the manufacturer’s products in Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and, at a later stage, Poland.

A spokesman said: ‘The new national sales company will strengthen the company’s position in the market place, improve and develop the dealer network and enhance marketing and advertising activities.’

It has appointed Francois Goupil de Bouille as managing director of the new sales company.
