A NEW software package has been developed to help fleet managers check the validity of their drivers’ licences.

Interactive Driving Systems’ Licence Check service feeds data directly into its Virtual Fleet Risk Manager system. It allows employers to confirm that an employee’s licence is valid and check for details of any endorsements.

Some employees are using up to three driving licences to hide prosecutions and convictions from their employers (Fleet NewsNet, July 28).
