A GLOBAL lift-maker has revamped its worldwide fleet operation. KONE International has 12,000 vehicles in 18 countries and spent considerable time examining options for managing them efficiently.

It has awarded the contract to Chevin Fleet Solutions and its FleetWare package. KONE International lead buyer David Swift said: ‘We were looking for a tool that would be easy to implement, easy to use and cost-effective.’

Although KONE’s main fleet operation is based in Belgium, all its worldwide sites will be able to view the system in their own language.
