AUDI has revealed details of three new cars which will be launched over the next two years.

First to arrive will be the S3 – a high-performance version of the A3 range, which arrives in showrooms later this year. Unfortunately, no details of what engine it will use were available at the time of going to press.

Due to be launched early next year, the A5 Coupe is essentially a coupe version of the A4 range, while the Q5, which arrives in 2008, will be a junior version of the new Q7 SUV.

According to Audi’s chairman, Prof Dr Martin Winterkorn, the Q5 will be ‘an overtly sporty vehicle that will add an important product to the Audi range.’

He added that the model will help push Audi towards its target of selling 1.4 million cars a year across the globe by 2015.
