More than 100 major players in the UK fleet industry will get involved in this year’s Road Safety Week, which runs from 5-11 November.

The week aims to raise awareness about the need to ‘Let Kids Live’ by slowing down and driving safely around homes and schools.

National Road Safety Week, now in its tenth year, is co-ordinated by Brake, the road safety charity, and supported by 3M, Direct Line and Green Flag.

Brake is calling on any fleet operator or service provider not already involved to order a free action pack from Brake.

The pack includes an awareness-raising poster for drivers, guidance sheet for managers on ensuring drivers don’t put vulnerable road users at risk, and ideas on getting involved in the Week. It can be ordered by emailing admin@brake.org.uk with full contact details.

Fleet operators can also visit www.roadsafetyweek.org and click on “companies” to find out more.
