How big is your fleet?
We have 155 vehicles and they are all leased. What is your background?
I took on fleet safety responsibilities in addition to my role as human resources manager 18 months ago. Before that, my involvement was limited to benchmarking vehicle choice in connection with the overall remuneration and reward packages. Is it a 9-5 job?
Chance would be a fine thing. Although it may sound appealing, I think I might get a little bored in a 9-5 role and my wife would get fed up with me being under her feet for longer each day. What is the most interesting job you’ve had?
I have been with Merck-Serono for nearly 25 years and have had a wide range of interesting jobs, working with some really great people. I guess the most interesting job is always the one you are in right now. What is your favourite holiday destination?
In the UK, my family like Bournemouth and in Europe, Brussels – close enough for a great weekend away and fantastic hot waffles with chocolate sauce and ice cream.
