ALD Automotive has signed a sole supply outsourcing agreement for a range of services covering 300 company cars and 60 cash opt-out employees run by Skipton Building Society.

Following the initial sale and leaseback with ALD Automotive on 220 company cars, Skipton has started replacing the remaining 80 vehicles with new models following the introduction of a choice list based around wholelife costs.

As existing company cars are defleeted, new models will be supplied to the Society equipped with ProFleet2, ALD Automotive’s telematics system.

ALD is also supplying a number of other services including accident management, daily rental and DriveSafe.

ALD Automotive sales director Mel Dawson said: “We undertook a comprehensive analysis of the different funding options available to the Society.

"The society’s board then gave sale and leaseback the green light, which was followed by the tender process."
