Lexus has made a series of revisions to its IS range, and cut the price of certain models by up to £1,000.

The revised IS, which went on sale last week, features a new front bumper with a revised grille, and new door mirrors.

Under the bonnet, the diesel IS220d has its CO2 emissions reduced from 168 to 163g/km – dropping it by one VED band.

There is also a revised grade structure, starting with SE and rising through SE-I to SE-L, and tweaks to the chassis and suspension.

The entry-level model, the IS220d, now costs £23,192 – a £702 saving over the previous version.

Savings of up to £1,057 are available on the petrol-engined IS250 models.
