The number of vehicles on Britain’s roads has increased over the past year.

According to figures from the Department for Transport (DfT), between 2006 and 2007 the level of road traffic increased by 0.6%.

Congestion has also increased over the past three years.

The DfT defines congestion as the average delay over a distance of 10 miles.

Since 2004, average vehicle delays have risen from 3.78 minutes to 4.05 minutes every 10 miles.

Despite the volume of cars dropping by 1% over the two year period, the number of LCVs on Britain’s roads increased by 9%.

The level of traffic on motorways remained unchanged, while traffic on “A” roads decreased by 2%, though traffic on urban “A” roads rose by the same amount.
