Xcess a bus Shrewsbury has taken delivery of 50 brand new VW Crafter, 16-seat, fully accessible mini buses, increasing its total fleet of welfare vehicles to more than 175.

The company is part of Burnt Tree Group, which run a fleet of more than 8,000 vehicles.

Simon Cassidy, director of the Shrewsbury-based company said: “Burnt Tree has a good long standing relationship with VW and I am confident that they are the chassis best suited to accessible vehicle conversions.”

Burnt Tree has 17 UK locations, including Newcastle, Sheffield, Manchester, Derby, Oldbury, Gloucester, Cardiff and Peterborough, that provide car, van, truck and minibus rental.
