Vauxhall has re-engineered its Corsa Ecoflex model, taking CO2 emissions down from 105g/km despite a 20bhp power increase.

The new model, available to order from Janaury, offers 98g/km of CO2 and 76.3mpg combined fuel economy - making the car exempt from VED charges, qualifying it for 13% BIK and 100% first year writing down allowances. Vauxhall has achieved these figures despite raising the Corsa Ecoflex's power from 75 to 95bhp.

The new Ecoflex will be offered in Life and Club trim, with three and five doors. Prices will be announced nearer to launch.
