Chinese carmaker, Great Wall Motor Company will start selling cars in Europe from next year.

Initially, the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania will be the first to get the company's cars.

Then, in 2011, Great Walll cars will begin to be sold here.

I.M. Group, the UK-based automotive importer and distributor for Subaru, Isuzu and Daihatsu, has signed an agreement to import Great Wall vehicles.

All of the European-bound models will meet EU whole-vehicle type approval standards.

"This will ensure that Great Wall models deliver high standards of crash-worthiness, equal to those of modern European and Japanese vehicles," said a statement.
