AutoAlert has launched an iPhone application for small and one man companies wanting to use vehicle tracking.

The new technology will allow companies or individuals to monitor the location, request help and other details via their iPhone, resulting in savings without the ongoing maintenance or subscription fees, say AutoAlert.

“In today's economic climate companies need to cut costs and improve efficiency, but they are wary of investing in new technology," said head of AutoAlert Richard Harris.

“The AutoAlert iPhone app allows fleets to monitor, protect and better utilise their assets without having to invest time and money in a complicated new system.”
