Renault will unveil a new Clio model at next month’s Geneva Motor Show.

Based on the current Clio III, the new version brings new styling cues front and rear, including the adoption of the light units first seen on the new Megane.

Due to go on sale in the UK late May/early June, the new Clio will feature, for the first time, a GT version.

This model will boast sports styling inside and out.

Also new is the availability of a Carminat TomTom satellite navigation unit – the first fully integrated GPS device.

This can be updated via the internet and will feature a colour screen, traffic and speed limit information, as well as the location of speed camera sites.

This device will be offered as an optional extra for less than £500.

More information on the new Clio will be released at Geneva, with UK pricing due to be announced in April.
