TransLinc has appointed Paul Wood as fleet services director to take responsibility for all fleet sales and service activity across its 45 customers.

He will also be responsible for expanding TransLinc’s customer base and ensuring its diverse fleet of 3,000 vehicles, covering everything from cars and LCVs to refuse collection vehicles and gritters, is managed and maintained efficiently.

As a qualified mechanical engineer, Mr Wood brings extensive knowledge of the public sector and utilities industry from previous roles with British Gas, Northern Electric and Lincolnshire County Council.

For the past 10 years, he has been managing director for Vehicle Lease and Service Ltd (VLS), supplying a full range of commercial vehicle funding, maintenance and vehicle management services for utility and public sector customers.
