Settling in: Mark Robbins, business development manager, Scotland & N Ireland, Lloyds TSB Autolease

How was the first week in your new role?

I had high expectations of Lloyds TSB Autolease’s capabilities and instantly these were exceeded by their professional outlook and dedicated focus on its customers. It was an
exciting and exhilarating period meeting with national sales manager Dean Hedger and all the public sector team at the site in Bury.

Were there any surprises?

Yes, the ability of the people and the business as a whole surpassed my expectations

What are you enjoying most about your job so far?

I work with a superb collection of people who make you feel valued and their drive to grow our share of business in Scotland is second to none.

And the least?

As of yet there is no aspect of the role I am not enjoying and I don’t envisage this changing in the future.

Is the role similar to your previous one?

Yes, it is all about developing relationships and being there to meet and exceed your customers’ requirements as and when they need you.

What would you say to someone considering your career?

It is an enjoyable role meeting a wide variety of people. Geographically, Scotland is a large area to cover but it beats travelling around the M25.

How do you relax at the end of the week?

I enjoy socialising and relaxing with my family.
