The Fuelcard Company has acquired Total Butler’s ‘Dieseline’ fuel card business in a deal which will increase the company’s client base by another 2,000 customers.

The Fuelcard Company, which is the UK division of the global card company, FleetCor, is a fuel card reseller partnering with several fuelling networks including Shell, Esso, Texaco and Keyfuels.

Following the acquisition the company now has more than 16,000 fleets on its books.

The purchase is one of several acquisitions made by parent company FleetCor during the last 12 months.

Dieseline uses the Keyfuels diesel bunkering network of over 1,600 multi-branded fuelling stations.

Existing Dieselline customers can use the same network and the same card as they have used before.

They will also now get added services including account management, online fuel card account management and report access and a choice of 12 different fuel card brands, consolidated into one account.

Paul Draycott, who has recently joined the company as managing director, said: “Part of our role will be to offer these newly acquired customers a proactive customer service strategy to ensure we deliver the best solution for their fleet.”
