Visitors to the Greener Company Car in Action event next month will be able to call on specialist advice in all areas of fleet operations in the new Advice Arena.

As well as having access to seven all-new models making their UK debuts at the Millbrook drive and decide event (Fleet News, May 7), CCIA will feature for the first time the Advice Arena – a special area which has been divided into eight zones:

  • Software: using technology to manage vehicles and drivers more efficiently.
  • On-road technology: Road Angel Fleet will be offering details of its cost-effective fleet management and tracking solutions.
  • Funding and wholelife costs: Venson Automotive Solutions will be offering advice on funding methods and why wholelife costs are key to developing a best-value fleet policy. Venson’s light commercial vehicles solutions will also be on display.
  • Environment: Find out about green fleet management tips which will not only reduce your firm’s carbon footprint, but will also save money, too.
  • Risk management: Gain information on how to ensure your drivers and vehicles are fit for purpose, as well as the latest thinking on legal issues.
  • Fleet data: Information is key to keeping your fleet safe and operationally efficient, so Fleet Data will be on hand to offer advice. This zone will offer advice on what data you need, and more importantly, what to do with it.
  • Fuel: With new fuel technology and fluctuating prices, BP Oil UK will be offering advice on what fuel strategy to adopt.
  • Innovation: This unique pod will feature a product or service that adds value for fleet decision-makers and enables them to do their jobs more effectively.

Visitors will find expert advice on hand from various companies, enabling them to gather time and cost-saving suggestions in between driving a rage of new models from 11 manufacturers – BMW, Citroen, Ford, GM UK Fleet (Chevrolet and Vauxhall), Honda, Kia, Lexus, Mini, Peugeot, Toyota.
