ALD Automotive has gained accreditation to the newly updated ISO 9001:2008 standard.

ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for an organisation’s internal quality management and ALD has retained full accreditation to the standard since 1993.

Following the launching of the fourth and latest edition of ISO 9001 last year, ALD’s successful re-accreditation follows a stringent certification process, which investigated all aspects of the company’s business to ensure that internal systems can deliver continually improving products and services.

ALD business services manager Lindsey Grant, who has overseen the ISO 9001 re-accreditation process, said: “ISO 9001:2008 provides a clear international reference for quality management requirements as well as any regulatory obligations of the company’s industry.”
