One of the UK’s leading independent logistics companies has introduced telematics to every vehicle in its 126-strong fleet.

TM Logistics cut costs and made productivity gains after investing in Navman Wireless’s system for 79 of its vehicles in 2006. It has now extended it to the rest of its fleet in a deal worth £90,000.

Dean Nicholas, systems and solutions manager at TM Logistics, said: “We’re always keen to utilise the latest in cutting-edge technologies. The return on investment in this system is clear.

Our operation has become even more efficient thanks to the increased visibility that vehicle tracking has brought to the business. Navman Wireless’s technology is user-friendly and has proved particularly reliable.”

TM Logistics employs more than 300 people in 16 on-site operations and warehouses across the UK.
