Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions claims it has seen a “marked increase” in the volume of pre-termination online vehicle sales, and the number of days to disposal drop by almost half since adopting the Preview platform provided by its online resale partner Carsite.

“De-fleeting is a continual challenge in the current marketplace, which encourages us to be more and more creative with our approaches to disposal,” explained Scott Holland, remarketing manager at Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions.

“Non-auction channels such as Carsite give us the flexibility to reach more consumers and still achieve a respectable sale price.”
