GE Capital’s Key Solutions team has claimed it identified £30 million in cost savings for its UK customers in 2009.

These are potential cost savings that could be made each year on customer’s existing fleets, according to GE Capital Fleet Services.

As a result, its customers subsequently reviewed, analysed and validated £24 million worth of these potential savings, agreeing that they could realistically be achieved on an annual basis.

GE Capital Fleet Services claims Key Solutions can dramatically change the way fleets operate both strategically and on day-to-day basis.

It considers every aspect of a customer’s fleet management process, from operational and financial to HR, taxation and fleet policy requirements.

John Kelly, Key Solutions leader, GE Capital, said: “The impact of our Key Solutions methodology and team has delivered a resounding win for our fleet managers in the ongoing cost battle and we look forward to supporting our customers and implementing more of these savings throughout 2010.”
