TRL has announced it will be providing managers, who have responsibility for their company’s driving policy, with an insight into the root cause of work related driving risk, the strategies behind managing this risk and the tools to deliver change.

Its ‘Driving Change’ seminar boasts a panel of experts with an understanding and in-depth knowledge of employee road risks, the means to manage these risks, and the promotion and delivery of an enhanced safety culture.

• The identification and correction of site safety issues: Tim Sterling, principal highway safety consultant
• Driver distraction - identifying sources and reducing effects: Dr Nick Reed, senior research fellow
• Driver profiling to minimise costs and optimise interventions: Britta Lang, risk management consultant

The seminar will also look at the design and operational risks of workplace vehicles; telematics for driver management; conducting effective investigations into workplace transport incidents; and a visit to TRL’s driving simulators.
