A new IT infrastructure is set to deliver enhanced service levels to customers of TransLinc.

The company has upgraded its communications network infrastructure to utilise a Private Wide Area Network (PWAN) that delivers a secure ‘always on’ connection for users, wherever they are located.

The new system means fleet management data can be accessed live from a secure central server – streamlining accessibility and ensuring both TransLinc’s employees and customers can benefit from the most up to date information at all times.

Jason Townsend, IT manager at TransLinc, said: “As an organisation, we needed to upgrade our IT systems in order to improve usability, functionality and flexibility as we grow the business.

“There are a host of new online services that we are looking to provide for our customers in the coming months, so we needed to ensure that the correct infrastructure was already in place.”
