Streetcar will locate vehicles at a range of sites across London and the South East, bringing its flexible, cost effective and greener alternative to car ownership within easy reach of thousands of residents in partnership with OM and Consort Property Management .
Brett Akker, Streetcar’s co-founder, said: “We’re delighted with this fantastic opportunity to be partnering with both OM and Consort Property Management. This arrangement will bring a low-cost, low-carbon pay-as-you-go travel option to their residents, where parking is often in short supply. Given our experience of the existing membership, it’s also likely that the flexibility of the Streetcar concept will encourage some residents to give up a car altogether, easing pressure on local congestion and pollution.”
Mike Dowland, head of operations for Consort Property Management said: “Our experience of managing large, high profile developments suggests this excellent initiative is something our Residents will find really useful.”
Residents who live on developments managed by OM and Consort Property Management will benefit from half-price yearly Streetcar membership of £29.50 and an instant £20.00 free driving credit. They will be able to choose from site-located vehicles, as well as any from within Streetcar’s dense urban network of cars. There is a Streetcar within a ten minute walk of 24 per cent of OM developments and 75 per cent of their Consort London developments.
