The Mobileye C2-270 has been launched in the UK. EyeDrive Systems Ltd is the exclusive UK and Eire distributor of the Mobileye Advanced Collision Avoidance System in the commercial vehicle market.

Mobileye is a Driver Assistance System that proactively warns the driver of an impending collision or driving hazard providing advanced warning to avoid the incident. Mobileye’s technology has to date been adopted by BMW, Volvo, GM, Nissan, Renault Trucks and Buick.

The system includes a smart camera located on the front windshield inside the vehicle. It utilizes Mobileye's vehicle, lane and pedestrian detection technologies to measure the distance to vehicles, lane markings and pedestrians, providing the driver with life-saving alerts.

Mobileye was awarded the Brake Fleet Safety Forum award for Best Fleet Safety Product of the Year 2009.
