SMA Newcastle wins Auction Centre of the Year

SMA Vehicle Remarketing’s Newcastle centre was recognised once again as the Auction Centre of the Year at the annual Motability Operations Supplier Awards. This is the second time in just three years that the business has gained this accolade

The Supplier Awards cover all areas of the Motability Operations business and recognise the people and businesses that deliver outstanding choice, excellence and customer satisfaction to Motability and its customers.

Winning in the Auction Centre award category, SMA Newcastle took the top spot this year delivering the strongest conversion rate of all auction centres working with Motability Operations.

Commenting on the award to SMA, the judges pointed to the manner in which throughout 2010 Motability Operations enjoyed working with SMA Newcastle to trial new initiatives, welcoming the business’ flexible approach to this activity.

The judges also praised the business as one that is always looking to improve sales performance and increase efficiencies; SMA Newcastle was also recognised for its buyer loyalty, motivated team, and high quality service
