Two employees from Wythenshawe-based accident management company Easi-Drive have recently completed a wing walk in aid of charity.
Troy Stevens, recoveries manager, and Erica Boland, group general manager, took on the challenge at Breighton Aerodrome in North Yorkshire, raising in excess of £600 for various charities, including The Stroke Association.
The pair ‘walked on the wing’ of a Boeing Stearman bi-plane, which is from the World War II era and reaches a maximum speed of 135mph.
Stevens said: “It was an exhilarating, once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
