CVR (Corporate Vehicle Rentals) is expanding its mini-lease offering to include LCVs for the first time.

The company suggests many fleet operators are still reluctant to commit to long term lease,s so the introduction of Ford Transit and Volkswagen Caddy vans to CVR’s mini-lease fleet is expected to prove very popular.

Gemma Bathurst, rental sales manager at CVR, said: "Due to popular demand, we are adding light commercial vehicles to the range of models that are available for fleet users to select for three, six and 12-month rentals. This is ideal for companies that are looking to take on extra commercial vehicles to meet the needs of short to medium term contracts or projects."

CVR has recently extended its mini-lease product to include 12 month contracts to provide fleet decision-makers with greater flexibility. The mini-lease products are popular because they’re more cost effective than daily rental but without the commitment of three or four year leases.

"A mini-lease solution bridges the mobility gap between daily rental and longer-term contract hire, and provides tailored rates for vehicle hires up to 12 months. It also offers significant reductions against standard spot hire with no reduction in quality or service standards."
