The Peugeot RCZ HDi 163 has beaten stiff competition to win the DieselCar Sports Car award, out-classing the Mini Roadster and Vauxhall Astra GTC into runner up spots.

DieselCar editor, Ian Robertson, commented on the RCZ, saying: “Its road-hugging stance, curvy shape and swoopy grooved top make it an instant head-swiveller. Performance defines a sports car, while styling delivers the wow factor. The RCZ has both in spades.”

Commenting on the awards, product manager Mark Blundell, said: “The RCZ turns heads wherever it goes, as does our awards cabinet which is bristling with accolades demonstrating its appeal”.
