Tusker has appointed experienced fleet specialist, Brian Nott, to the new role of head of vehicle operations.
Reporting to chief operating officer Mark Sinclair, Nott joins the company with over 25 years’ fleet industry experience with companies such as Godfrey Davis, Bank of Scotland Vehicle Finance and Lex Vehicle Leasing.
In his last role before joining Tusker, Nott worked for the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) as assistant asset manager, helping manage the fleet of 4,500 BMW-provided vehicles for athletes, athletics officials and VIPs.
“I was very proud to fulfil this role and to help in some small way in the organisation of the most wonderful Olympic Games of modern times,” he said.
In his new role at Tusker, Nott will be responsible for all vehicle operations for both the contract hire and salary sacrifice fleets. This includes all operating issues for vehicles on the two fleets required to keep them in service and on the road, including servicing and maintenance and fleet administration such as speedy fines and all relevant authorisations.
“I’m very excited to be joining Tusker at this stage in its development. Tusker is a young, innovative and forward thinking company that is definitely heading in the right direction, and I hope to play my part in helping the company fulfil its objectives,” said Nott.
Commenting on the new appointment, Sinclair said: “Brian brings a wealth of fleet experience to Tusker at a time when we are making great strides towards our ambitious growth plans.
“We confidently expect him to help manage and develop our vehicle operations to ensure that we continue to provide the first class customer service to both our contract hire and salary sacrifice customers for which we have become so well known,” he added.
