TBS Enterprise Mobility has launched its real-time fieldworker scheduling tool – TM Schedule – which enables businesses to enhance customer experience and aims to reduce costs by up to 20%.

TM Schedule automates individual schedules in real-time to ensure customer needs are met and fieldworkers take the most economic route available, minimising unproductive travel costs.

Steve Reynolds, managing director at TBS, said: “Balancing the needs of the customer with the need to optimise fieldworker yield is a challenge, but one which is of paramount importance given the tough trading conditions businesses currently face.

“TM Schedule coordinates mobile workforces in a way that achieves excellent customer care and leaner business processes.”

Harnessing real-time technology, TM Schedule intelligently adapts schedules to changes as they occur, such as extended visits, last minute cancellations, emergency appointments or unexpected traffic congestion; maximising mobile resources and offering accurate updates for customers.

Through optimising fieldworker schedules, TM Schedule frees up significant time to increase visits per day, meaning customers wait much shorter periods for an appointment, and fieldworkers get longer at each stop.

TBS has partnered with German automated scheduling technology provider, Fast Lean Smart (FLS), to launch TM Schedule on its innovative TaskMaster platform, which runs on any mobile device.

Jeremy Squire, UK managing director for FLS, added: “We see TBS as the perfect partner, TM Schedule is an ideal addition to the TaskMaster platform, which offers the flexibility demanded by today’s mobile workforce.”

TM Schedule works with the TaskMaster platform, so that individual workflows are kept constantly updated with the latest appointment order and customer-specific information.

In turn, mobile data is integrated with all existing management systems so that fieldworker activity can be monitored at head office.
