Vehicle inspection, collection and delivery provider, Vmoves, has launched a smartphone application designed to rapidly speed up the process for fleet customers to check the status report on the inspection of their vehicles.

The app displays an instant receipt as well as photos of the vehicle and details on any potential damage within minutes of the inspection being signed off by Vmoves, reducing the need for hard copy paperwork and email receipts.

It will be of particular use to fleet managers with a high volume of vehicles. Rather than looking through multiple emails or keeping hard copy receipts on file, they can access each inspection when required through the app.

The app is available on both Apple and Android devices and requires just the vehicle’s registration number and the customer’s postcode to log in and operate. It will then display the full details of the vehicle’s inspection offering convenience and peace of mind for the user.

Linda Mitchell, general manager – fleet intelligence at Vmoves said: “The speed and convenience of this new app allows fleet managers and drivers to enjoy greater data efficiency. Another first in the industry.”
