Lex Autolease, the UK’s largest fleet management provider, has agreed a deal to provide 300 new light commercial vehicles (LCVs) to car and van rental specialist Europcar.
Since agreeing a three year contract to become one of Europcar’s fleet funding providers in 2012, Lex Autolease has provided the company with more than 4,000 cars and vans, including the latest batch of Vauxhall Movanos.
Ken McCall, managing director of Europcar UK Group, said: “Lex Autolease has developed a deep understanding of the business since the start of our contract agreement.
“Our close working relationship has helped to support the mobility needs of our corporate customers through the development of one of the market’s largest and broadest range of rental cars and vans.”
Nick Curtis, corporate relationship manager at Lex Autolease, said: “The rental market is a highly competitive environment where customers demand access to the latest models.
“The final 100 of the 300 Vauxhall Movanos have been in-fleeted in January and we look forward to further supporting Europcar as it continues to develop and expand its fleet.”
Lex Autolease also has a longstanding supply relationship with Europcar, including an agreement to provide its customers with flexible and convenient short term and mini-lease rental vehicles.
Europcar is one of the leading mobility players in Europe. Operating in more than 130 countries, the company provides customers with access to one of the largest vehicle rental networks through its own operators, franchisees and partnerships.
