Citroen drops price of e-C4 by £5,600 in revised range line-up

Citroen has dropped the price of its revised fully-electric e-C4 by more than £5,600 compared to its predecessor as part of facelift of its C4, e-C4, C4 X and e-C4 X ranges.

The facelift has also seen a number of specification and technical changes introduced for the mid-sized hatchback and saloon.

The revised models, which will be available to be ordered later this week, will be priced from £22,295 (C4) and £24,735 (C4 X) respectively.

Powertrains across the ranges are the 138PS or 158PS electric models alongside the Hybrid 100 and Hybrid 136 models.

The 138PS electric models feature a 50kW battery and have a WLTP range of 219 miles, while the 158PS models use a 54kW and have a range of 257-263 miles.

Citroen is also introducing a hybrid version of C4 and C4 X, with Hybrid 136 available on both models and Hybrid 100 exclusively on New C4.

Hybrid 100 has CO2 emissions of 106-107g/km, with Hybrid 136 at 106-107g/km.

New C4 and e-C4 are available in three trim levels: You!, Plus and Max. New C4 X and e-C4 X will be available in Plus and Max trim levels only.

All models feature the new 18-inch bi-tone Amber diamond-cut alloy wheels, a 10-inch touchscreen featuring wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic windscreen wipers and LED lights, rear parking sensors and dual-zone climate control.

New C4 and C4 X also feature upgraded Advanced Comfort seats, combined with Advanced Comfort suspension.

Plus trim adds extra equipment such as a reversing camera with Top Rear Vision, electrically folding mirrors and an anti-theft alarm.

The infotainment system is upgraded to the My Citroen Drive Plus system, which includes connected 3D satellite navigation and a new seven-inch driver’s digital display.

On top of this, Plus equipment grade adds dark tinted rear windows, heated front seats and steering wheel, automatic Intelligent Beam Headlights, a front/rear/lateral parking aid and adaptive cruise control.

Vehicle to Load (V2L) technology is available on e-C4 and e-C4 X.
