Company Car in Action (CCIA), the Fleet News test driving event, has opened its doors to hundreds of fleet decision-makers today (Wednesday, June 12), for day one of the two-day show.

The event at Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire, allows fleet decision-makers and leasing company stakeholders the chance to utilise more than 30 miles of roads and tracks with varied surfaces and technical features.

A total of 34 brands are bringing their latest and greatest cars and vans for fleet decision-makers to test to this year’s event. Many are offering visitors first drives.

They are Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, BYD, Citroen, Cupra, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Ford, Genesis, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, Lexus, Maserati, Maxus, MG, MINI, Nissan, Omoda, Peugeot, Polestar, Renault, Seat, Skoda, Smart, Suzuki, Tesla, Toyota, Vauxhall, Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and Volvo.

There are exclusive first drive opportunities from Canoo and Munro, at the Vans in Action stand – another first for fleets.

Alongside the industry heavyweights such as BMW Group, Stellantis and Volkswagen Group, Chinese brands such as BYD and Maxus also have stands.

Omoda is making its show debut this year, as it begins its brand launch in the UK, and Smart also joins the roster having launched its first two models since becoming a standalone brand.

From newer entrants to mid segment to premium brands, this is a veritable ‘who’s who’ of vehicle manufacturers, with something to appeal to every fleet decision-maker.
