Brake is urging safety conscious fleets, suppliers, manufacturers and individuals to enter the UK Fleet Champions Awards 2025.

The road safety charity has partnered with Driving for Better Business by National Highways for the second year to deliver the awards, which recognise the achievements of organisations working to prevent crashes and reduce pollution caused by work vehicles.

Entries for the 2025 UK Fleet Champions Awards opens today (Thursday, February 20), and will close on Friday, May 2.

The awards are free to enter and are an excellent opportunity to celebrate the hard work of the organisations and individuals across the fleet sector that make road safety a priority.

All entries will be judged by an independent panel of judges and presented at a ceremony hosted by Brake at New Dock Hall at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, on Thursday, September 25.

Brake’s CEO Ross Moorlock said: “This year, as Brake celebrates 30 years of championing road safety, we’re highlighting the incredible achievements in safety from fleets across the industry.

“If you’re part of an organisation that has gone above and beyond to prevent road death and injury, or you know someone making a real difference to improve the safety of our roads, we want to hear from you.

“The UK Fleet Champions Awards are an opportunity to gain well-deserved recognition for your efforts while supporting Brake’s vital work. Join us in marking this milestone year by entering the awards and showcasing your commitment to safer roads.”

Mark Cartwright, head of commercial vehicle incident prevention at National Highways, and Anne-Marie Penny, senior road safety policy advisor and lead for Driving for Better Business, said they were delighted to be returning as a partner with Brake for UK Fleet Champions Awards.
