Cobra Automotive Technology has been renamed Vodafone Automotive.
The Italian company was acquired by Vodafone in June 2014, and a spokesman at the time said the company’s telematics products and expertise would enable it to provide a more comprehensive range of end-to-end services to automotive customers.
At the time, Erik Brenneis, director of machine-to-machine at Vodafone said: “The combination of Vodafone and Cobra will create a new global provider of connected car services.
“We plan to invest in the business to offer our automotive and insurance customers a full range of telematics services.”
The company said core services, contact details terms and conditions as well as customer account managers will remain unchanged.
