The 2015 BVRLA Broker200 has raised more than £6000 for automotive industry charity BEN. The endurance race took place on May 13, and was organised by the BVRLA’s leasing broker committee.

Commenting on the day, committee chairman Mike Potter said: “Once again, the sun shone on Milton Keynes for the third annual Broker200, and we’re really pleased at the number of participants who entered the race. Their generosity has resulted in a huge amount of money being raised for BEN, and that we had fun while doing it is just a bonus.”

After 118 laps of competitive racing, the team entered by Enterprise Rent-A-Car took the chequered flag. The team’s quickest driver Peter Cole also set the fastest lap on the day, with a time of 1.10.428.

Second place went to the team from FleetDrive, who trailed the lead car by just 21 seconds after two-and-a-half hours. Finishing third was the PHVC kart, just 51 seconds behind the leader.

The event saw more than 20 teams lap the 1150m International circuit at Daytona Milton Keynes for two and a half hours. Teams comprised rental companies, leasing brokers, funders and vehicle manufacturers.
