This year’s Fleet & Mobility Live will showcase the many different modes of transport available to fleets to help them cut their carbon emissions.

The UK’s leading event for car and van fleets will take place at the NEC, Birmingham, on October 8 and 9 and provides a unique opportunity for visitors to engage and connect with the fleet community.

The free-to-attend show is creating a dedicated micromobility zone featuring interesting displays and examples of this emerging field of transport.

Micromobility operators will showcase their products to fleets so decision-makers can make new contacts and learn about emerging mobility trends that will help them cut their carbon emissions.

Exhibitors confirmed for this area include folding cycle manufacturer Brompton, bike brand Raleigh and electric motorcycle company Vmoto.

The Vans at Work segment at this year’s Fleet & Mobility Live aims to showcase a selection of the country’s finest fleet workhorses and other commercial vehicles.

See vans in their natural working state as some of the UK’s leading fleet operators provide fully livered and racked commercial vehicles which show how they configure the latest models to their needs.

The event helps facilitate access to the best knowledge, learning and peer groups across the industry, helping the fleet sector to connect, learn, share and discover new ways to improve their business operations.

Content for a series of best practice and strategy sessions at this year’s free-to-attend event has been developed by the two-day event’s visitor advisory board (VAB) which is made up of HR and fleet professionals (see below), whose fleets range from fewer than 100 vehicles to more than 1,000.

This year the event will have three theatres delivering best-in-class content:

Fleet Fundamentals Theatre: this will look at some of the everyday basics of running a fleet, such as safety, compliance and electrification.

Strategy & Leadership Theatre: Focusing on areas of the sector having the greatest effect on the way fleets operate, offering advice and insight to give fleet decision-makers the confidence to make the right decisions and form the best strategies.

Fleet Matrix Theatre: Aimed at HR, finance and procurement professionals, sessions in this theatre will recognise that fleet responsibilities can be part of other departments across an organisation.

Other show attractions will include a local authority hub and an Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP) hub.

The EV Café will also be at the show offering tips and advice on making the switch to zero emissions vehicles.
