Go Live Data has announced the acquisition of fleet and automotive data company MIB in the UK.

The strategic move by Go Live Data will see the additional intelligence added to its existing data, enabling it to support businesses already offering fleet-based solutions, including vehicles, fuel cards, insurance and finance, to communicate directly to target markets.

James Urquhart, managing director of MIB, said: “After over two decades as a leader in fleet and automotive data, we are excited about this new chapter for MIB.

“Go Live Data represents an excellent opportunity to further strengthen MIB’s capabilities and expand the value we have provided to our clients for many, many years.

“Go Live Data’s expertise in data-driven marketing and values aligns perfectly with MIB’s vision of delivering unparalleled fleet intelligence.

“MIB now with Go Live Data, will continue to innovate and support businesses with the most accurate and actionable fleet data in the industry.

“Our shared commitment to providing best-in-class solutions ensures that our clients will see even greater benefits as Go Live Data now take the reins.”

Launched in 2020 by Adam Herbert and Tim Langley, Go Live Data has developed its own technology to provide a database of UK Plc and Ltd companies, resulting in B2B marketing campaigns.

Herbert, CEO of Go Live Data, said: “We are extremely proud to be the new owners of MIB which has been the market leader in fleet data space for over two decades, specialising in the most accurate fleet information available.

“I’m confident this move will give us the competitive edge in these important sectors, as MIB’s service compliments our ability to provide extensive B2B marketing solutions that go far beyond the purchase of high-quality data. We look forward to supporting new and existing customers in coming years.”
